Bonomini’s cube forms are driven by a longstanding interest in the beauty and symmetry of the five Platonic Solids: the tetrahedron (or pyramid), the cube, the octahedron, the dodecahedron and the icosahedron. The cube is associated primarily with earth, therefore reflecting and responding to material, sculptural engagement.
